## All services 8

### US address and compliance

The address is the least conspicuous and at the same time the most frequent stumbling block of the entire setup.

### Apply for an ITIN

The ITIN is purely a tax number. It is not a work permit, not a residence permit and does not create a tax liability.

### Apply for an EIN

The EIN belongs to the company, not to the person. It is the business counterpart to the [ITIN](/en/glossary/individual-taxpayer-identification-number).

### Form a US LLC

Formation is possible without US residence. State fee of $50 to $125, ongoing $0 to $400 per year plus a Registered Agent.

### Open a US bank account

In our experience a branch appointment takes one to two hours. Two or three banks in one day are doable.

### Open US credit cards

The Amex transfer is open to primary cardholders in eligible countries whose card has been open for at least three months. The “Member since” date carries over, and the points stay on the existing account.

### Build a US credit score

Creditworthiness in the US is built by credit lines paid on time, not by wealth.

### Get a DUNS number

The DUNS number concerns the creditworthiness of the company, not your personal creditworthiness.

## Which building blocks you need depends on your structure

In the strategy call we clarify which order applies to your case and what you can skip.
